Apps

The HMinfo Apps are free tools that facilitate ‘on the go’ assistance with assessing, planning, and undertaking modifications to the home and neighbourhood. The apps can be used on mobile devices, such as iPads, iPhones and Android phones.

DIYmodify

DIYmodify The HMinfo DIYmodify App provides help with planning and doing your own Home Modification. Appropriate Home Modifications have the potential to increase the independence and quality of life of people with disability or who are ageing, as well as reduce their ongoing care costs.

The move to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will generally give people more control over how they spend their funds and on what, including if and how they choose to do Home Modifications. Everyone will want to spend their funding wisely and do-it-yourself (DIY) projects are one way to do this.

The DIYmodify App is for anyone who has wanted to do their own Home Modification but wasn’t sure how to start, and for those who are confident in DIY but not sure what is possible in Home Modification.
