Author: Centre for Accessible Environments (U. K.),, English Heritage,
Year: 1998
Type: Audiovisual Material

Abstract:

This video shows how improving access for disabled people and conservation principles can be reconciled in historic buildings. Featuring historic buildings in London as diverse as Kew Bridge Steam Museum, St Johnメs, Smith Square and the Midland Bank headquarters in the City, Keeping up with the Past raises awareness about the good practice that is now developing and emphasises the importance of early consultation and good design in the management of change. It is aimed at design professionals, building managers, conservation officers and access groups.
