Abstract:

This article examines privacy in the home environments of families who have young children with disabilities. 32 families with 34 children (ages 3 to 10) with disabilities participated in this study. Covers choice control and access in the child's bedroom, needs or concerns regarding privacy during toileting and bathing and physical modifications or adjustments made to create personal spaces.
