Abstract:

The purpose of the Centre for Developmental Disability Studies is to provide leadership in research, teaching and practice that will inform the provision of services, both generic and specialist, to community members who have developmental disabilities, their families and carers. The Centre disseminates current information and knowledge concerning those services which ensure the best quality of life possible for persons with developmental disabilities, and provides technical assistance and advice to organisations providing health, community support, accommodation and employment services.
