Abstract:

This publication presents a range of possible solutions to problems commonly faced by people with dementia living at home. It presents a way of approaching and solving problems at home. The information is intended primarily for carers. It is also useful for dementia support workers, occupational therapists and staff of home maintenance and modifications schemes. The information was collected directly from people with experience; 11 people with early stage dementia; 16 carers and 70 service providers who support people with dementia living at home.
