Abstract:

This work features more than 200 examples of contemporary buildings, showing strategies implemented by the architects to overcome restrictions of space, time and the environment. Guidelines, specifications and environmental considerations are reviewed in theoretical and practical terms. All plans and descriptive texts have been selected in consultation with the architects involved. The projects include a number relevant to the needs of the elderly and seniors.
