Journal of Environmental Psychology

Author: Amerigo, M., Aragones, J. I.
Year: 1997
Type: Journal Article

Abstract:

Presents a theoretical and methodological approach to the study of residential satisfaction, and seeks to give a general view of the relationships established between a person and his/her residential environment. A conceptual framework is presented and supported by various empirical studies which were structured on the basis of the dimensions which represent the activity of the individual with the cognitive, affective, and behavioral environment. A general overview of the state of the art in residential satisfaction is offered. Problems affecting research in this field are discussed. Suggestions are made for future research.
