The inaugural ATSA Independent Living Expo is set to open next week on Tuesday, August 27 at the National Convention Centre, Canberra.
Held in conjunction with iCREATe, the international Convention of Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology, the expo will take place over two days and is set to feature the latest in AT innovations relating to the disability and aged care sectors.
Speakers in the expo’s seminar program include Dr Lloyd Walker, director assistive technology at the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS); Chris Sparks OAM – president of the Physical Disability Council NSW (PDCN); Kath Hamilton CEO of loop+; Joana Santiago, OT and clinical educator at Medifab and David Sinclair EO of ATSA.
