The Invisa-Beam is an Australian invention developed to prevents falls by alerting carers to the movement of people from beds and chairs.
The Invisa-Beam provides a bed or chair mounted invisiable beam that alerts a carer (by alarm or pager) when the person sitting or lying moves and "breaks the beam."
The chair monitor is wireless and battery powered, eliminating the need for wires which can create a falls risk.
