NSW Health Emergency Management Unit and NSW Ambulance have published some important information regarding summer preparedness for the upcoming summer season.
SPECIFICALLY FOR SUMMER
Increased risk of heatwave.
Decreased risk of widespread flooding.
Increased risk of bush fire.
Later start to the tropical cyclone season.
No change to the type of seasonal storm risk however predicted to occur later in January.
