The Treasurer, Hon Josh Frydenberg MP, handed down the 2020–21 Federal Budget this week, with significant funding to support older Australians and strengthen the aged care system.
The Australian Government’s 2020–21 Budget includes:
Total funding for aged care has increased from $13.3 billion in 2012–13 to $23.9 billion in 2020–21. There will be a further increase to $27.1 billion in 2023–24.
