To celebrate the work of the late Robert Jones, Dr Margaret Ward PSM, in the inaugural oration, explores the boundary between our rights to design the private space of our home and the public interest in universal housing design. She asks whether equitable access to private homes is in fact in the public interest.
Robert Jones had a passion, to ensure everyone had access to the essentials of life in contemporary Australia.
The first essential is housing.
