Welcome to Occupational Therapy Australia's Inaugural National Aged Care Symposium 2019. Join us on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 February 2019 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Queensland for robust conversation and sharing of evidence-based information to enrich your interactions and services to older Australians.
The Symposium theme Respect: Relate: Renew will explore the changing aged care landscape including the introductions of consumer directed care and service providers needing to consider new and innovative service delivery models. A focus on new technologies, reablement and the changing funding sources present exciting opportunities and challenges for Occupational Therapists in Aged Care.
Over the last decade community and residential care has seen constant change. Come to the symposium to learn about the new systems and gain insight into the Commonwealth government reforms and the impact that this is having on clients, families, service providers and occupational Therapists.
