Held at the Frankston Arts Centre in Frankston on Wednesday December 5, locals will be treated to an expert line up of speakers to discuss the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
Starting at 9.30am the forum will discuss the foundations of NDIS, what is it, why we need it, who is for and what is happening in the current environment.
Speakers will include
Ken Haley, inspirational speaker, author and journalist.
Dr Jane Tracy, Education Director, Centre for Developmental Disability Health Victoria at Monash University and medical practitioner, Victorian NDIS Implementation Taskforce member.
Bruce Bonyhady AM, Deputy Chair of the Advisory Group to the COAG Select Council on Disability Reform.
Terri Carroll CEO, Peninsula, Access, Support and Training.
John McKenna, Disability Commentator, blogger and advocate.
Leah Hobson, NDIS Engagement Projects, National Disability and Carer Alliance.
James O’Brien, Acting State Director, Victoria, National Disability Services.
