Many carers would be familiar with the recent Aged Care Royal Commission, which heard evidence of a system that can be inequitable and difficult to navigate. Currently, in-home care services are delivered by several programs which have different approaches to assessment, eligibility, service providers, funding and fees.
The Royal Commission made a series of recommendations to transform the aged care system, including a new Support at Home Program starting in July 2024. Please join us for a 90-minute information session on Aged Care Reforms and Carers, where we walk you through the current system, what is changing and why.
Sessions are delivered online via the ZOOM platform and are free to attend.
