Webinar today, 9 May: A new model for regulating aged care

Join us for a webinar on the proposed new model for regulating aged care today, Tuesday 9 May, at 2pm-3pm AEST.

The webinar is part of our consultation on A new model for regulating aged care, Consultation Paper No.2: Details of the proposed new model, open until 5pm, Friday 23 June.

We’ll share details about the new Aged Care Act and how the new model aims to enhance the protections of older people and the delivery of high-quality care without adding unnecessary regulatory burden on providers. Topics to be covered include:

• supporting provider capability
• proposed registration categories and obligations
• the definition of high-quality care under the new Aged Care Act
• proposed whistle-blower protections
• transitioning to the model.

The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session.
