Holistic Approaches to Dementia Care

Camden has over 1,195 people living with dementia, a brain illness that affects memory, mobility, vision, and behaviour. Dementia is a brain illness that affects memory, mobility, vision, and behaviour. Without a cure, this figure will rise by 460% by 2050.
People affected by dementia need socially and physically enabling environments to thrive in their communities. How can we provide this holistic care? Join Western Sydney University researcher and advocate, Dr Diana Karamacoska, for a 2-hr interactive workshop exploring care optimisation strategies for the home, healthcare settings, and community. Spots are limited and registration is essential.

This session is being run as part of the Dementia Friends initiative. Certificates from Dementia Australia will be given to those who participate in the session.
