Best practice when working with people with complex support needs

This UpSkill workshop, presented by the Summer Foundation, will build your capabilities in properly supporting people with disability and complex support needs.

 

Learning objectives:

• Identify the rights of people with disability, when they need to be reasserted, and strategies to do this within your scope of practice
• Identify key guiding approaches that are essential when working with people with complex support needs
• Demonstrate strategies to improve your practice and identify ways to to work collaboratively with mainstream and NDIS services.
• Lead, innovate and develop service improvements inline with contemporary best practice
