The RED Conference, A Regional Experience in Practical Dementia Care

Day 1 of 2

The RED Conference, now in its second year and over two days will showcase and provide regionally focused practical and innovative support approaches to enable people with dementia to live well with dementia both in the home and other care environments.

Keynote speakers secured include Dr Cameron Camp, American Montessori for dementia expert; Ms Lesley Palmer, Chief Architect at Stirling University, Scotland and Professor Joseph Ibrahim, Monash University.

The conference will feature a range of plenary sessions and workshops across both days.

The conference is open to anyone with an interest in the field of dementia, in the care of people living with dementia and for those living with dementia.

The conference program also includes a pre-conference Masterclass with Dr Cameron Camp on Enabling Persons with Memory Impairment to Learn New Procedures. This masterclass will take place on March 27, 2019 at The Westport Club.

Our speakers and workshop presenters are varied and will cover a wide variety of topics to suit all, including people living with dementia, carers, service providers, care staff, field workers, clinicians, allied health & medical professionals, GP's, nurses and the community.
