Fundamentals of Falls Prevention

One Day Professional Development Workshop
Are you working with older people who fall over? Do you find this area of work challenging? Would you like to expand your knowledge, share your experiences in falls prevention, and learn the latest evidence to help you improve the care you deliver? If so, then this is for you.


At this evidence-based interactive workshop you will learn:

  • What causes falls and what are the risk factors
  • How to effectively screen and assess falls risk
  • Effective strategies for preventing falls
  • How to apply the evidence in REAL settings.
