Understanding the ILC: AFDO Disability Loop Workshop (Wangaratta)

The Australian Federation of Disability Organisations (AFDO) Disability Loop project is very fortunate to have received support from the Victorian Government to run workshops around Victoria about the Information, Linkages and Capacity Building (ILC) part of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). This workshop is just for people working in the disability sector for small, community organisations.

This workshop was written by a team of people with disability who work for a community organisation in disability sector, some who are also NDIS participants. We believe that this allows the workshop to better meet the needs of people working in the sector. This workshop has been designed to make the ILC easier to understand. In a small, interactive session, we will cover lots of different parts of the ILC part of the NDIS; from knowing its scope, how to identify a good ILC idea, to making sure ILC grant applications focus on outcomes instead of outputs.

Importantly, these workshops are only for people working in the disability sector for small, community organisations. People who don’t meet the criteria are not allowed to attend.

You can see all the events organised by Disability Loop/Australian Federation of Disability Organisations (AFDO) here.
