On behalf of the Leading Age Services Australia - Queensland Board, conference committee and staff, it is my pleasure to invite you to join us at Jupiters Hotel from 20th-22nd March for the 2013 Queensland Leading Age Services Conference (formerly named the ACQ State Conference). This years theme is The Power of One: One purpose, One Voice, One Passion. We are very excited to be convening our first conference as LASA Qld following the formation of the national body Leading Age Services Australia, which represents retirement village operators, residential and community care, housing and age service providers, from both the not-for-profit and for profit sectors.
This is such a crucial time for all parts of our sector with the aged care reform agenda for residential and community care and the State Government review of the Retirement Villages Act plus many other significant changes it is simply a must for those of us involved with the industry to attend and participate in the 2013 conference. The 2013 Excellence in Care Award winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner held on Thursday 21st March. Nominations are now open if you have an exceptional employee or work for an outstanding organisation nominate them now.
