Please be advised that the public comment draft of the 2014 National Construction Code (NCC) has been released on the ABCB website at www.abcb.gov.au
One area that may be interest you is the relocation of the energy efficiency requirements for heated water systems from Volume Two (BCA – building code) to Volume Three (PCA – plumbing code). Another is the revision of the stormwater requirements in Volume Two.
Comment is open for approximately 8 weeks and final agreed changes will be included in the NCC for adoption from 1 May 2014.
