I have a query about the use of high tensile metal wire rope (as is used as architectural features) to be used as the mid rail on a ramp. Obviously it's feature would not be as a hand rail but rather as a barrier to prevent falls or climbing under the rail or as a kerb rail. I have seen it on ramps and cannot find anything in the AS 1428 which would prevent it's use. Does anyone know of any building code which would be affected by this or any particular problems.Rebecca Rogers
