Construction of ramps is frequently required to provide access into the client's home. Often ramps are difficult to design due to the topography, have high material and labour costs and are visually incongruent with the existing house.

Has anyone used berming or bridging as an alternative solution? If so, how did the costs compare to standard ramps? What was the consumers' response / reaction?
