Home Modifications are changes made to the home to help people with disability and older people to be more independent in performing their daily tasks safely and avoid injury to carers. Modifications to the home include e.g. widening doors, adding ramps, and / or the installation of equipment (assistive devices) e.g. grabrails, handrails, lifts etc. To find more information about home modifications, you could:
